Yay...

...Officially as of 2:00 this morning, I am done scraping the popcorn off the ceilings! Yay! I have hated that dusty, messy job! (The reason that I was up so late is because I put off getting started until 9:30!) The master bed, bath, and closet are ready for the contractor to fix the walls! These are the last rooms! Unfortunately, that means that we have moved the bed into the only available space in the living room!

A crazy thing happened Sunday. The office that I work at four days a week was broken into. Two other offices next to us were also broken into and received more damage than we did. My boss called Sunday night and I was definitely not expecting that kind of news. The damage could have been worse and they didn't take much. However, the intruders had access to my tax information including my social security number. So now I need to work on taking the steps to report it and make sure everything is ok on my credit. Our office is getting an alarm system installed on Thursday!

Craig's spring break was nice. I got really spoiled having him around. Today all the school stress hit him and the long meetings started up again. I don't know which one of us is more ready for him to graduate!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

New J-O-B!

Before
After

I know it has been forever since I have posted anything. Of course we have been staying busy with the house and we are making progress. In the picture above, the fan has been changed, the beam is fixed, and the ceilings have been redone. Craig had this past week off and was able to make a lot of progress with the tile in the bathroom. The master bed and bath are the last two rooms to be done. There are good days when I feel like we are really making progress and then there are bad days where the dirty mess feels like it will never be finished!
I told my boss this week that Craig got a job. I have a great Christian employer who took the news very well and seems to be happy for us. Of course we don't know when our house will sell or if I will find a new job very quickly, but at this point my boss knows that it is a possibility that I might be moving.
For anyone that doesn't know...Craig accepted an offer from Crane Naval Base in Crane, IN (SW of Bloomington by about 30-40 minutes.) His job title will be "Contract Specialist." I'm sure we will know more about what he will actually be doing once he starts. We feel that God really lined this job up for Craig and feel that it is a great opportunity. Everything is pretty crazy in the finance field right now and we really feel blessed that Craig already has a job, several months before graduation. We know that God will continue to take care of the other details that go along with the change (selling the house, my job, moving.) Craig's official start date is July 6th.
