Some of E's biggest fans...

She has many other fans, including her mother, but this is all I have on my phone!

Life before E

E was upset that IU ruined her bracket, so she decided to stay put!
(Yes, that is Prilosec on the sink - my heartburn was so bad!!)
Grayson sent this picture of him painting Easter eggs.  He got the dye kit in his Easter basket from Aunt Jess and Uncle Craig.
The Saturday before Easter, we went to the farm and had an Easter egg hunt for Craig's cousins.

Grayson, Sarah, and Mom came to Bloomington on my due date.  It was great to have the distraction on my first day of maternity leave with no baby!

Friday April 5th was a beautiful chilly afternoon for a baseball game.  IU just built a new stadium and with tickets at $5, we had a great time!

Saturday morning Craig participated in a 5K.  I thought about walking it to get labor started, but decided that wasn't the smartest idea.

We had lunch at one of our favorite places - Scenic View.

To kill a little time and satisfy our sweet tooth, we stopped at Red Mango!!

Then we went to another IU baseball game!

We must have stayed busy enough that E decided that she wanted to join the fun.  Sunday morning I  started having contractions and she was born at 3:06 a.m. on Monday.  We are glad she came just three days after I started my maternity  leave so that I can spend as much time with her as possible before returning to work.

Welcome to this crazy world Eleanor!

Our very own piece of heaven arrived 10 days ago.  We feel beyond blessed for a safe delivery and healthy baby.  Recovery has been hard, but the support we have felt from friends and family has been amazing.

February Update...

Did you know they hand out a Pediatric Owners Manual?  Actually it is full of good, useful information that our pediatrician probably hopes that we actually read instead of calling them 72 hundred times.

Craig's co-worker gave us a bag full of clothes that his daughter has grown out of!

We attended a Baby Basics class a couples weeks ago.  We learned everything from swaddling to diaper changing!

He's gonna be such a good daddy!

Here is a glimpse of our girl!  Only 6 more weeks (or so) before we get to meet her!

We bought this dresser for the nursery from an antique shop around Thanksgiving.

It has now been transformed!  The paint I picked matches perfectly with a blanket that was made for us!  I can't wait to get it all put together in the nursery.  We still need to pick out some new knobs.

Happy Valentine's Day!  Apparently we only have green sprinkles!

Our bathrooms are done!  The master shower...
Master vanity

Guest bath

New carpet in our room

New chair!  (On clearance for half off plus a 20% off coupon!  Score!)

New carpet in the baby's room and crib is put together!  Still more to do...!

Sarah helped me go through all the clothes we have been given!  It is all washed, folded, and sorted.  I'm still working on storage for the clothes that she will grow into.  It's a good problem to have!

Watch Out...

...If you are in our house right now, there is a good chance that you might get cleaned, organized, or thrown away.  Craig calls it nesting.  I call it...it just needs to be done!

My project for Saturday:  organize. the. office!

This is about halfway through.  It always looks worse before it gets better!  The closet, which is the length of the room, also got organized.

All the paper in the box on the left needs to be shredded.  I'm not sure why I kept all our bill invoices all the way back from 2009.  The stack on the right is magazines and papers that need recycled.  The 3 huge stacks of papers that were on the desk in the "to be filed" piles have been filed away!

Here is the office the next day.  In total it took about 12 hours!  It feels much better!

Monday also proved to be a productive day.  After meeting our pediatrician, we got some breakfast and went shopping.  We have a three story antique mall here in Bloomington and found this great cabinet.

We packed our wedding china in boxes 3 1/2 years ago when we moved down to Bloomington.  We haven't had a great place to put it until now!
