Gender Reveal Party!

Our friend Amanda threw us an amazing party for all our family and friends to be present and find out at the same time if we were having a girl or boy!  Everyone cast their vote and had their picture taken with a blue mustache or pink lips!  We also asked for name suggestions.  Too bad we aren't having a boy and using the suggested name Spartacus!

Amanda made chocolate covered pretzels and cookies.
Amanda's mom made the cake pops!

We held the party at Farm Bloomington and had a light appetizer buffet.  The decor in the room we rented was pretty eclectic, but Amanda also added candles, the flowers hanging from the ceiling, and chocolates on the tables.

Grayson wanted a baby boy cousin!

Mom and Mike also wore their blue and were guessing boy!

Carol, Craig's mom and my Mom opened a gift to reveal the gender - PINK onesies!  They are both very excited and were pretty emotional!

Yep - it's a girl!

I'm so glad we got to share that moment together!

We can't thank Amanda enough for throwing us the amazing party that helped celebrate our excitement!

Precious pictures

We are in love with our growing baby!  2 weeks ago we found out that we are expecting a girl.  She didn't want to cooperate for all the measurements that they needed, so we will get another ultrasound in 2 weeks to complete all of them.  So far, everything is measuring as it should!  I'm excited for another sneak peak and we are praying for a healthy baby!

Favorite little guy!

Grayson was visiting over the weekend and was his cute adorable self.  I got out my phone to take a picture of him and then we switched it so he could see himself on the phone.

Who is that?!

Hey that guy is cute!

REALLY cute!

Love this one - so sweet!

Being this cute is hard work!

Happy Halloween!

Our friends had a housewarming party last weekend and this is the only picture I took!  It is a cheeseball with crushed Doritos and pepper stem to make it look like a cute little pumpkin!  It also tasted very good!

Busy & Fun Weekends!

Spa day is my favorite day of the year!  I had an amazing massage and facial.  Shari and I enjoyed the "tranquility room" before our treatments.

After our morning at French Lick Spa, we went out to lunch at a restaurant on one of the golf courses in the area.

ISU's School of Business held their "Hullabaloo" during homecoming weekend.  The old federal building has been transformed into the new school of business.  Tours, live music, and a silent auction were held.

A huge tree at the farm fell and had to be cut up.  Craig's family came in from St. Louis and spent the day working on the tree.  Lilly, 4, decided it was her job to pick all the acorns off the tree.

She filled her pockets full!

We also celebrated Isabelle's 2nd birthday!

She had a little help blowing out her candles from dad and sister.

We visited a huge apple orchard and pumpkin to get in the fall mood.

I never knew that there were so many different pumpkins!

It was a little bit of a drive, but it was a great place!

Our quick trip to Chicago was rainy and cold, but it was GREAT time spent making memories with friends!

Landscaping

This is what our house looked like when we bought it about a year and a half ago - full of overgrown landscaping.

Then this past spring we had everything cleaned out!  It looked completely bare all summer!

We have had some nice weekends and Craig was able to get a ton done all in one Sunday afternoon.

We were able to get most plants 50% off because it was the end of the season.

The retaining wall Craig installed looks very nice.

Craig picked out this cute maple that has some pretty fall color right now.

The plants all look pretty small and immature, but hopefully it will all fill out.

Craig put a ton of black mulch down!
