Children's Museum

Walking into the museum, nothing looked familiar.  It had only been 20ish years since I had been there!  The one thing that I remembered was the clock and it was still there!

Grayson was a fan of the car section.

He liked to park the cars in their garages more than move them around.

Sarah said that Grayson loves motorcycles, but this one was a little too stretched out for his arms!

Grayson loved the skid steer!  He went back to it over and over.  He only got off if mommy made him so another child could have a turn.

I think he liked it because he could push and pull on the levers and buttons!

Sandbox

Through the center of the museum is a glass sculpture.

Below the sculpture is a glass ceiling to look at the light coming through all the colored glass.

The dinosaur area was really neat - complete with sounds of dinosaurs.  It was almost a little scary!

We tried a dinosaur suit on Grayson...for about a second...

He quickly walked his way out of it!

I guess he won't be a dinosaur this year for Halloween!

Sarah and Grayson mesmerized by the Rube Goldberg exhibit.

I'm pretty sure we could have stood there all day watching all the different balls moving, falling, bouncing, making noise!

Grayson tried the carousel for his second time.

I think this try was better than the last because there was no crying, but he still wasn't excited about it.

This was mainly Grayson's look - not sure and holding on tight!

They had some pretty neat things on display.

Another shot of the clock

The huge transformer that greet everyone as you walk in to buy your tickets.  I only know it's Bumblebee because the kids tell me when they pick out their transformer toothbrush!  It was a great trip to the Museum - definitely lots to learn for all ages.

I am very proud of Craig!

Lake Monroe

Last weekend we had the most beautiful day to spend on Lake Monroe.

We couldn't believe we had waited over three years since living in Bloomington to spend a day on the lake!

Friends of ours rented a huge 2 story pontoon, complete with a bathroom and a counter/sink area.

The sun and clouds were amazing.  The perfect breeze kept everyone happy.

A plane wanted a very close up view of the lake!

This is a view up the stairs to the second story (and Craig) and the beautiful sky.

It was a beautiful day to enjoy friends and the fall weather.

Birthday

It was our first time in Lucas Oil Stadium, we saw the Colts win in a preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday.

Friday we celebrated my birthday with a cookie at work.
Sarah and Grayson grew some flowers this summer and picked some just for me!

Craig ordered the most chocolate cake they would make!  (I took a "real age" test for one of my classes and it determined that I was really only 24.8.  So that is what I'm claiming this year instead of my real age.)

Amazing!

I knew that Sarah, Eric and Grayson were coming for a visit on Saturday, but I didn't know that Craig's family, Mom, Mike, Abby, and my Grandparents were meeting us for lunch!  I was very surprised!  Sarah and Craig were very sneaky in the planning and did a great job!  I loved seeing everyone!

After everyone went home, Craig and I went to the IU vs ISU football game after a little tailgating!

It was a GREAT day!
