Master Bath Shower

This master bath shower project started so long ago that I don't know where the true "before" pictures are. The shower was originally a fiberglass shower insert. We thought it would be a great idea to put tile in the shower and picked out some beautiful tile. Then life got in the way (mainly school) and the project has been on hold for quite a while.

Craig finished installing the tile earlier this spring

The drywall was finished in the entire bathroom

Our contractor was very quick at grouting everything

We bought shower doors...not the ones that we thought we bought, but we installed them anyway. The doors that we thought we bought were advertised as very easy to install with compression fittings - no tools, no cutting, no drilling. However, as soon as I started reading the directions, I realized that we would need to cut the top and bottom track and drill into the tile on the sides. We made another trip to Terre Haute and two store later to realize that they don't carry the easy install shower doors in-stock. However, they could order them and arrive in 26 days! We were nervous about it, but the doors installed pretty easily.

Thinking...maybe a little too hard

It was easier to read the directions when I was comfortable

The shower has officially been used for the first time! I really thought we would never get it done. I am glad it is finished in time for us to use a little before we move.

In the end, I am very impressed with Craig and the project.
